In September 2025, EcoWareTech made a strong impression at Food & Hospitality Malaysia (FHM) 2025. From September 23 to 26, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre held this important trade-only event. It brought together leaders in hospitality and foodservice.
FHM 2025 had 1,500 brand exhibitors and about 25,000 trade visitors. It featured 15 international pavilions, making it one of the largest events in recent years.
At our booth (Booth 10015), we highlighted our latest wooden forks and spoons and broader bamboo cutlery offerings. We welcomed global buyers for on-site demos, sample exchanges, and business matching. This participation reaffirmed our mission: to deliver eco-friendly cutlery solutions to B2B buyers worldwide.
Why FHM 2025 Was a Strategic Move for Buyers
Market Relevance & Exposure
By showcasing at FHM, EcoWareTech tapped into a key Southeast Asian trade hub. Many visitors traveled from ASEAN, the Middle East, and Europe, making it ideal for global supply chain connections.
Solving Procurement Pain Points on the Spot
-

Buyers tested physical samples of wooden forks and spoons—feeling finish, strength, wobble, and finish. -
Custom Branding & Packaging
We showcased logo engraving, wrap options, and design mockups. Some orders were sketched on-site. -
Transparent Logistics & Terms
Discussions on MOQs, lead times, shipping to EU hubs under DDP/FOB terms took place face-to-face. -
Compliance & Certifications
We provided FSC, FDA, LFGB and test report documents on hand, helping buyers judge quality without waiting.
This direct approach helped buyers validate choices and build trust quickly.
Market Trends Backing the Move
The timing couldn’t be better. The market for biodegradable cutlery is growing. Analysts expect it to increase from USD 48.41 billion in 2025.
By 2034, it could reach USD 89.09 billion. This growth represents a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.3%. The Europe region remains a dominant share in demand.
Within Europe, wood-based cutlery is one of the fastest-growing segments.Grand View Research
This means demand for quality wooden forks and spoons is not just a trend—it’s becoming a supply standard. At FHM, buyers actively sought alternatives to plastic for compliance and branding advantage.
